M!LK is heading to one of Japan's most iconic talk shows. The five-member dance-vocal group will appear on 'Tetsuko's Room' on June 5, marking their first time on the program hosted by legendary broadcaster Kuroyama Tetsuko.

The group will arrive in eye-catching style, sporting elaborate feathered and bejeweled outfits from their song "Bakuretsu Aishiteru" (Explosive Love). During the episode, they'll open up about their early days—when members commuted from their hometowns in Kagoshima, Aichi, Mie, Wakayama, and Tochigi via late-night buses and trains just to rehearse on weekends while still attending school.

M!LK will also reflect on how they navigated the pandemic. Rather than giving up, the group held weekly meetings to discuss what they could accomplish during concert cancellations and lockdowns. They credit this resilience and adaptability with fueling their rise to stardom.

With host Tetsuko known for her love of regional dialects, M!LK will showcase words and phrases from their various hometowns. The episode will also feature the group performing their signature poses, and they're keeping their "dream for all five members" under wraps until the broadcast airs.

The timing of their appearance comes as M!LK continues riding high. Their 2025 track "Iijan" (That's Good) accumulated 2.7 billion SNS plays and earned them their first NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen appearance. Their latest double A-side single "Bakuretsu Aishiteru / Suki Sugite Metsu!" released in February 2026 shows no signs of slowing down, with "Suki Sugite Metsu!" crossing 3 billion SNS plays and surpassing 100 million streams.

Formed in 2014, M!LK achieved major-label status in 2021 and recently completed their inaugural arena tour during their 10th-anniversary year. Their 2025 second major album 'M!X' solidified their position as one of Japan's breakthrough acts.

'Tetsuko's Room' airs June 5 at 1:00 PM on TV Asahi.
