M!LK's Sano Yuto Shares Debut Struggles on TBS Variety Show
M!LK member Sano Yuto will appear on TBS's 'Sand Yatai' on June 30, discussing the group's early hardships. Bandmates reveal what they find cool about him in touching segments.

M!LK's Sano Yuto is heading to TBS's variety show 'Sand Yatai' on June 30 to open up about the group's early days in the industry.
The show, hosted by comedy duo Sandwich Man, invites guests to share stories about their struggles before making it big. This episode focuses on difficult trainee and debut experiences, with guests competing for special food rewards based on whose stories impress the hosts most.
Sano plans to reveal an embarrassing incident that happened at a regional event when M!LK was just starting out—something that seems worlds away from the group's current success. The episode will also feature touching moments where his bandmates praise his best qualities. Members Yamanaka Jotaro and Yoshida Masato apparently gushed about him enough to make Sano blush on camera, while Sono Shunta and Shiozaki Taichi share his coolest mannerisms—which Sano will even recreate live in the studio.
Also appearing on the episode is KEY TO LIT's Inogari Aoya, who'll discuss his own intense trainee days in the Japanese idol system. He'll talk about surviving harsh industry traditions and the dreaded "shimme gari" (eliminating trainees), plus reveal a memorable gift from SixTONES's Tanaka Juju, hinting at an unexpected connection between the two.
The lineup rounds out with comedy talents Okubo Kayoko (Oasis), Yoshimura Takashi (Heisei Nobushikobushi), and actress Matsumoto Wakana.
Air Date: TBS, June 30, 2026 at 10 p.m. (Japanese time)
