Mt.FUJIMAKI 2026 Announces First Wave of Artists
Ryota Fujimaki's outdoor music festival Mt.FUJIMAKI returns October 3, 2026, at Lake Yamanaka in Yamanashi Prefecture. The first artist lineup includes Strainer, MONKEY MAJIK, and Retrorylon.

Ryota Fujimaki has revealed the first batch of performers for Mt.FUJIMAKI 2026, his annual outdoor music festival happening October 3 at the Yamanaka Lake Community Plaza Kirara in Yamanashi Prefecture.
The confirmed artists are Strainer, MONKEY MAJIK, and Retrorylon, with Fujimaki and additional performers still to be announced. Strainer holds a particular significance—the band made their major debut in 2003, the same year as Fujimaki's former group Remioromen, and both cut their teeth performing at live houses in Shimokitazawa during the Tokyo underground music scene.
Fujimaki, a Yamanashi native born in 1980, fronted Remioromen for over a decade before the band went on hiatus in 2012. Since then, he's maintained an active solo career, releasing his fifth album "Hakanaku Moroi Mono" in March 2025. He's been hosting Mt.FUJIMAKI since 2018, establishing it as a summer staple at the lakeside venue.
Ticket pre-sales are already underway through Lawson Ticket until May 27 at 11:59 PM. Official tour packages will become available May 25 at noon through Fujikyu Travel, making it easy for fans traveling from outside the region to attend.
More artists are expected to be announced as the October date approaches, so keep an eye out for updates on the festival's lineup.
