NCT 127's YUTA is bringing his talents to the big screen with a new movie theme song. The singer has been tapped to perform "Dreams Never Sleep," the theme track for Kamen Rider Zetts: Sayonara no Mission, releasing July 24 as part of a double-feature summer film event.

This marks YUTA's second collaboration with the franchise—he already handles the theme for the TV series Kamen Rider Zetts, which airs Sunday mornings on TV Asahi. The new film track follows the same creative team: composer KENJI03 (known for his work with the band BACK-ON) and lyricist Seiko Fujibayashi.

YUTA expressed genuine excitement about the role in his statement. "Continuing from the TV series' new chapter theme to now handling the film theme feels like a dream and reality at once," he said. "I'm incredibly happy to be involved with Kamen Rider this way—a series I was obsessed with as a kid."

The production process was notably collaborative. KENJI03 worked directly with YUTA from the demo stage, building the track's structure together rather than presenting a finished composition. KENJI03 emphasized wanting to capture the song's grandeur while showcasing YUTA's emotional vocal delivery, with the intro-to-chorus progression serving as the track's centerpiece.

Lyricist Fujibayashi described the experience of writing for YUTA's voice a second time as an honor, noting how his "cool presence paired with strong will and warmth" shaped her approach to the lyrics.

The film itself is part of a two-movie event called Kamen Rider Zetts & Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity: W Hero Summer Movie 2026. The franchise recently revealed that M!LK's Shunta Sono will play the film's ultimate villain, Kamen Rider Mugen (Soma Kumen), with a trailer now available on YouTube.

For YUTA, the opportunity combines his musical career with nostalgia—a rare alignment he clearly doesn't take for granted.
