Negicco Shares Full Concert Film After Member Returns From Maternity Leave
The Niigata-based idol unit Negicco is releasing their April comeback concert in full on YouTube, marking member Kaede's return after over a year away for childbirth and parenting.

Negicco is giving fans a complete look at their April concert as the Niigata-based idol unit officially marks member Kaede's return to performing. The full performance from "Negicco 2026 live: Make Up Prelude supported by Satou Foods," recorded April 26 at Tokyo's Spotify O-EAST, will premiere on YouTube June 7 at 7 p.m. JST.
Kaede stepped away from the group last summer to have her second child and take maternity leave. The April concert served as her triumphant return and the trio's full reactivation after the hiatus. The uploaded footage captures the entire 22-song setlist plus encore performances with minimal cuts—only skipping the waiting period between the main show and encore, plus one moment during a talk segment when members accidentally hummed a non-Negicco song.
The group, formed in 2003 as a campaign unit for Niigata's famous soft-skin leeks (やわ肌ネギ), has evolved into a respected indie idol outfit over two decades. They're now approaching their 23rd anniversary and have collaborated with notable artists like Koshiji Yasutaka and members of ORIGINAL LOVE and NONA REEVES on their catalog.
Negicco's setlist reflects their journey, mixing early hits like "恋のシャナナナ" and "恋のEXPRESS TRAIN" with newer material including tracks from their solo projects—Kaede and Nao☆ both released solo work while the group was quiet. The concert recording will remain available through June 30 at 11:59 p.m. JST.
For fans outside Japan following the group's long career, this full concert video offers an unfiltered window into Negicco's current sound and energy as they move forward with all three members active again.
