Nerune (ゆるめるモ!) and Sara (diig) have officially launched a new unit called Momo-gumi Bōsōzoku, marking a fresh collaboration between two artists who've maintained a close creative relationship.

The partnership builds on momentum from a previous collab event last October titled "♡Momo-gumi Bōsōzoku Arrival♡ ～Nerune Sara × Momo Attack Successor Crew～." That collaboration proved successful enough that both artists decided to develop their unit activities more formally. The newly released artist photos show the pair dressed in pink riot gear, a visual that plays into the unit's deliberately chaotic aesthetic.

Nerune brings over a decade of experience as a member of ゆるめるモ!, the experimental idol group known for blending everything from new wave and electronica to shoegaze and industrial sounds. The group has released more than 130 tracks and toured internationally across Asia, Europe, and beyond.

Sara represents the newer generation, having joined diig—a group formed in 2024 under producer Sakurai Kenta's ekomsバンド management. diig just released their debut full-length album "persona" in June, positioning Sara as part of an emerging creative force in the Japanese idol scene.

The duo's debut one-man live, titled "Tokyo Running ～Para-lira Para-lira～," happens July 15 at Club Malcolm in Tokyo. Ticket details will be announced separately. Both artists have also established official social accounts for the unit on TikTok and Instagram (@momogumibosozoku), giving fans a direct line to future updates and content.

The project represents an interesting cross-generational moment—pairing an established underground idol act with a newer group building their fanbase—and signals that both ゆるめるモ! and diig are open to exploring creative territories beyond their core group activities.
