Tokyo's upcoming UNDERCITY event has announced its second wave of performers, adding 11 artists including Jibaku, ผ้าอ้อม99999, and Hyoryu Ongaku to the March 17 multi-venue show.

The organizers of Tokyo's new UNDERCITY event have revealed 11 additional artists joining the March 17 lineup. The second announcement includes Jibaku (自爆), Thai-named group ผ้าอ้อม99999, Hyoryu Ongaku (漂流音楽), PELI, and Love Summer-chan (ラブサマちゃん) among others.
UNDERCITY will take place across four connected venues in Tokyo's Shibuya area: LIQUIDROOM, LIQUID LOFT, KATA, and Time Out Cafe & Diner. This multi-venue format allows attendees to move between different spaces and experience various musical styles throughout the day.
The diverse artist roster reflects Tokyo's vibrant underground music scene, mixing established acts with emerging performers. Hyoryu Ongaku, whose name translates to "drifting music," represents the experimental electronic side of Japanese music, while other acts span different genres from indie rock to avant-garde pop.
The event's name suggests a focus on Tokyo's underground culture, positioning itself as an alternative to mainstream music festivals. By utilizing multiple connected venues, UNDERCITY creates an immersive experience that mirrors the interconnected nature of Tokyo's music communities.
