Nogizaka46 members Aya Ogawa and Yuna Shibata will take on special reporter duties during the Chiba Lotte Marines' BLACK SUMMER WEEK game against the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles on July 23.

The pair, both known baseball fans and members of the group's unofficial "Nogizaka Baseball Club," will appear throughout the day's festivities. Their coverage will include the pre-game "Catch up!! Marines" segment, between-inning events, and activities running through the final out.

Ogawa expressed enthusiasm about the role, saying she loves the festival-like atmosphere of BLACK SUMMER WEEK and looks forward to helping energize fans while wearing the event's signature uniforms. Shibata, who's followed the event as a fan for years, shared her excitement at participating as a reporter this year, promising to help fans "blow away the summer heat with fun."

BLACK SUMMER WEEK, presented by Coolish, kicks off July 10 and features special promotional games throughout the month. The event has become a fixture of the Marines' summer schedule, known for its lively fan experience and themed entertainment.

Nogizaka46 continues to expand beyond music into various entertainment ventures. The group recently released their fifth studio album "My respect" in January and held a four-day memorial concert series in February celebrating the album and past releases. The group has maintained strong cultural relevance since their 2011 debut as the "official rival" to AKB48, becoming one of Japan's most successful idol groups with multiple Japan Record Awards wins and regular NHK Kohaku Uta Gassen appearances.
