NUMBER SHOT 2026 Announces First Wave of Artists Including BUMP OF CHICKEN

NUMBER SHOT 2026 has revealed its first batch of performers for the upcoming festival scheduled for August 1-2, 2026. The event will take place across two major Fukuoka venues: Mizuho PayPay Dome Fukuoka and Seaside Momochi Beach Park's Gyōhama Beach.

The initial lineup includes 16 acts spanning multiple genres of Japanese music. Headlining the announcement is BUMP OF CHICKEN, one of Japan's most beloved alternative rock bands known for hits like "Karma" and "Hello, world!" Also confirmed are Makaenji (γƒžγ‚«γˆγ‚“), the energetic pop-rock duo, and Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra (スカパラ), the legendary ska band that's been a festival favorite for decades.

The roster continues with pop sensation Yuuri, whose emotional ballads have dominated streaming charts, and Shonan no Kaze, the reggae-influenced hip-hop group famous for blending Japanese lyrics with island vibes. Rounding out the announced acts is Yabai T-shirts Yasan (ダバT), the punk-pop quartet whose irreverent style has won over younger audiences.

NUMBER SHOT's unique dual-venue setup allows for different atmospheres – the indoor dome typically hosts bigger productions while the beach setting offers a more relaxed festival vibe. This combination has made it a standout event in Japan's crowded summer festival calendar.

With 16 acts revealed and more announcements expected, NUMBER SHOT 2026 is shaping up to be a major destination for J-Pop fans next summer.
