ONE N' ONLY's Sekizaki & Momoiro Clover Z's Momota to Star in Stage Play

Sekizaki Tetsuta from boy group ONE N' ONLY and Momota Kanako from idol group Momoiro Clover Z will share the stage in an upcoming theatrical production. The mysterious performance visuals for "9 de Kata ga Tsuku" (roughly "Settled by 9") were recently revealed.

The play is produced by theater troupe Yamada Japan, known for their creative and unconventional productions. While details about the plot remain under wraps, the newly released visuals hint at an intriguing mystery theme.

For international fans unfamiliar with the performers: Sekizaki is a member of the eight-member boy group ONE N' ONLY, which debuted in 2019 under LAPONE Entertainment. The group has built a following through their energetic performances and diverse musical styles.

Momota serves as the leader of Momoiro Clover Z, one of Japan's most prominent idol groups. Known for their colorful costumes and high-energy performances, Momoclo (as fans call them) has been active since 2008 and remains a major force in the idol scene. Momota's theatrical experience includes previous stage work, making her a natural fit for this collaboration.

This cross-group collaboration represents an interesting meeting point between the boy group and idol worlds, offering fans a chance to see their favorites in a different artistic context. Theater collaborations have become increasingly popular among J-Pop artists looking to expand their creative horizons beyond music.
