ORANGE RANGE is bringing fellow Okinawan rockers かりゆし58 to their 25th anniversary concert this summer. The celebration, titled "YOKOHAMA UNITE音楽祭 2026 presents ORANGE RANGE 祝25周年 ベストヒット・チャンプルー," takes place July 26 at Yokohama BUNTAI as part of a two-day music festival.

The move reunites two bands that first shared a stage just three months ago during かりゆし58's 20th anniversary tour in March—a performance that generated significant buzz among both fan bases. ORANGE RANGE, which formed in 2001, and かりゆし58, who debuted in 2006, share deep roots in Okinawa's distinctive rock and traditional music fusion sound.

The collaboration carries real warmth between the groups. かりゆし58's guitarist Ariyoshi expressed genuine respect for ORANGE RANGE's 25-year journey, saying the band's career trajectory and willingness to evolve command admiration. For ORANGE RANGE's HIROKI, having trusted hometown mentors present takes pressure off: "Since we have senior artists we trust and love from the same homeland, we can relax and have fun."

Both bands emphasized the personal connection. かりゆし58's bassist Maekawa noted that ORANGE RANGE's formation date and かりゆし58's debut both fall on February 22, creating a special kinship. The bands have already shared behind-the-scenes moments during their March performance and continue collaborating on radio spots.

The anniversary concert also features [Alexandros] as guest performers. Attendees who purchase special ticket packages will receive a commemorative "Chanpurū happi" (festival coat) that ORANGE RANGE personally designed.
