Original Love and Korean alternative band CADEJO have released the music video for "Groove God's Love," a track from their collaborative EP From a South Island. The visual captures a live performance that took place at OPPA-LA on Enoshima in Kanagawa, where Original Love's frontman Taisao Tajima joined CADEJO for an impromptu session.

The collaboration EP arrived in April as the second major release marking Original Love's 35 years since their major label debut in 1991. From a South Island represents a cross-cultural partnership between the Japanese veterans and the emerging Korean band, blending their respective sounds into something fresh.

Original Love has maintained a steady presence in Japanese music since their early '90s breakthrough with hits like "月の裏で会いましょう" (Meet You on the Moon's Dark Side) and "接吻 kiss." The 1994 album 風の歌を聴け reached number one on the Oricon charts, establishing them as consistent hitmakers. In recent years, Tajima has expanded beyond the band format with solo ventures including acoustic tours and his recurring "Love Jam" event series, which has hosted artists ranging from Sanyou Day Service to Yogee New Waves.

The "Groove God's Love" video's concert footage captures the natural chemistry between Original Love and CADEJO, showcasing both bands' improvisational abilities. The Enoshima setting adds an intimate, location-specific element that brings the collaboration beyond a standard studio recording.

For Original Love, the partnership with CADEJO extends their legacy of artistic flexibility while introducing their work to audiences beyond Japan. The 35th anniversary campaign demonstrates the band's commitment to staying creatively engaged rather than simply looking backward. With From a South Island now having a proper visual, the collaboration reaches fans who prefer experiencing music through video platforms.
