Panda Dragon is officially searching for new members through its first-ever audition, nine years after the group's formation in 2018. The audition, titled "Panda Dragon Serious Nakama Search Audition ~ Our Dream Won't Stop!! ~," aims to fill the ranks after the group transitioned to a five-member lineup in April 2025.

The group currently operates with members Taiga, Nagi, Naruki, Patch, and Yota. Interested candidates can apply from June 1 through August 30, with the audition process running through November 24.

Eligibility requirements include being between 12 and 35 years old, not being signed to another agency (or having agency approval), and being able to commit to activities centered in Tokyo.

The audition structure spans multiple stages: preliminary rounds will take place across six cities nationwide, with members themselves serving as interviewers. Candidates will then progress through second and third rounds, a training camp audition, and finally a championship round on November 24.

Panda Dragon's timing for this audition comes as the group continues building momentum. They achieved major-label debut in September 2024 and have performed at storied venues including Tokyo's Nippon Budokan. Their 2023 track "パLIFE!パLIKE!パLOUGH!パLOVE!" became a viral sensation on TikTok, accumulating over 200 million views across videos using the song. The group released their 12th single "Maji☆Majinai" in July 2026.

Formed initially through auditions as the sister group to MeseMoa, Panda Dragon has established themselves through successful solo concerts at venues including Zepp Haneda and Nippon Budokan. Their opening to new members represents a significant expansion phase for the organization.

Prospective members can find full details and apply through the official audition website.
