Two popular bands will provide the soundtrack for the upcoming second season of anime "Higeki no Genkyo to Naru Saikyo Gedo Last Boss Joou wa Tami no Tame ni Tsukushimasu" (commonly called "RasuTame").

Retroliron will perform the opening theme, while Garakuta handles the ending theme for the series, which begins airing April 7 on TOKYO MX, MBS, and BS11.

The anime, whose full title translates roughly to "The Strongest Villain Last Boss Queen Who Works for the People Despite Being the Source of Tragedy," is based on a popular light novel series. The story follows a villainess character who tries to reform herself and help her people.

Retroliron, known for their energetic rock sound, has previously contributed to several anime soundtracks and has built a strong following in Japan's rock scene. Garakuta brings their own distinct musical style to the ending theme, promising an interesting contrast between the opening and closing of each episode.

This collaboration between the two acts and the anime series represents another example of J-Pop artists expanding their reach through anime tie-ins, a practice that often introduces their music to international audiences through streaming platforms.

The second season pickup indicates strong performance for the first season, and fans can expect both the story continuation and new musical elements to enhance the viewing experience when the show returns next month.
