RIP SLYME is immortalizing their final chapter on video. The groundbreaking Japanese hip-hop group will release "GREATEST LIVE VIDEO" on September 9, featuring their last concerts before entering hiatus.

The release captures three nights of performances from March at Tokyo's TOYOTA ARENA TOKYO, marking the end of an intense reunion year. RIP SLYME had announced in April 2025 that they'd reunite as a five-member unit (RYO-Z, ILMARI, PES, SU, and DJ FUMIYA) for one final tour leading up to their 25th major-label anniversary on March 22, 2026. The group had been operating as a three-piece since 2022, after an eight-year hiatus that began in 2018.

The limited edition includes bonus material beyond the farewell shows. It adds footage from their first tour in eight years ("RIP SLYME TOUR 2025 DANCE FLOOR MASSIVE FINAL") and their Christmas special shows ("GREATEST CHRISTMAS"). The standard edition focuses on the main three nights only.

RIP SLYME shaped Japanese hip-hop's mainstream trajectory since their 1998 formation. They scored a major breakthrough with their second album "TOKYO CLASSIC," which went platinum, and became the first Japanese hip-hop unit to headline the prestigious Nippon Budokan.

Fans who pre-order by July 31 receive a special "RIP SLYME GREATEST CARD" as an early-bird bonus, with additional perks varying by retailer. The release comes in both Blu-ray and DVD formats, with the limited edition spanning four Blu-ray discs.
