ROF-MAO is taking a break from group activities following member Kenmochi Tōya's departure on May 28. The streamer requested to leave the group last year to expand his career opportunities and pursue individual projects.

After discussions between the remaining members and staff, the decision was finalized. Kenmochi's exit means the group—previously composed of Kenmochi, Kaga-mi Hayato, Fuwa Minato, and Kaita Haru—will pause operations while the three remaining members figure out their next steps.

Despite the group's hiatus, all four members will continue their individual streaming careers under their agency, Nijisanji. They'll maintain their personal channels and content creation as before.

To mark the transition, Nijisanji released a fan message video addressing the changes. The group's final livestream with all four members will air on May 28 at 9 p.m. JST on ROF-MAO's YouTube channel, featuring their regular show "Moku10! ROF-MAO Juku."

ROF-MAO formed as a unit within Nijisanji, combining the talents of its four streamers for collaborative content. While the group's activities will be on hold, the members' individual presence in the streaming community remains active and unchanged.

This move reflects a growing trend in virtual entertainment where group members balance collective projects with solo careers. Kenmochi's decision to pursue broader opportunities suggests he'll focus more on individual streaming and other ventures moving forward.
