Ryugu-jo is gearing up for a busy summer with the release of their new EP 'MOTTO' and an extensive tour schedule. The digital drop happens July 15, followed by a CD release on July 22.

The five-track EP centers on a straightforward theme: "You claim your own identity for yourself." The group teased the project by announcing that one track, "Hoero!!!", will get an early release on May 27. The remaining songs round out a set of stylistically varied material that reflects the group's experimental approach.

Ryugu-jo—formed through an audition show produced by Nippon Television, Stardust Promotion, and Sony Music and helmed by Avchan (Josei Saitei)—has built a reputation as an "alternative enka and dance collective." The seven-member lineup includes ITARU, KENT, Ray, KEIGO, S, Yuuki Tomita, and Haruka Saiki. Since their 2023 debut, they've released two EPs and their first full-length album, "Urajima", last year.

The 'MOTTO' EP will come in two physical formats. The limited production edition includes a Blu-ray featuring live footage and behind-the-scenes material from their March Arena Live at Toyota Arena Tokyo. The standard edition is CD-only.

With the EP in hand, Ryugu-jo will launch their 'MOTTO' Live Tour 2026 starting July 26 across Japan. They'll cap off 2026 with two massive arena shows in February 2027 at Keio Arena Tokyo, marking their biggest venue run to date.
