Sakurazaka46's Taniguchi Aiki is taking on a starring role in a new short drama designed to motivate students preparing for entrance exams. "Agecome Note" will debut in late June across YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram as part of the SPRIX Exam Support Project, an initiative by the educational company Sprix.

The short drama follows Taniguchi Ageha, a third-year high school student navigating typical teenage struggles—romance, club activities, and academics. The story's appeal lies in its premise: those worries get resolved through unexpected words from classmates, capturing how casual remarks from friends can lift our spirits in ways formal advice often can't.

Taniguchi, who plays the lead, reflected on her experience: "I realized that on days when my mood wasn't great, just having 'agecome' turned them into wonderful days. There are lots of heartfelt laughs in this drama, so please pay attention. Let's find your own 'agecome' together."

The production brings together experienced talent behind the camera. Director Nagayama Koji emphasizes the story's core message: treating the drama as a "reference book for youth" rather than something overly philosophical. He notes that a friend's words can inspire courage more effectively than ancient wisdom, and hopes viewers will pause to reflect on their own lives after watching.

Okura Kusuto from the group Genin wa Jibun ni Aru co-stars alongside Taniguchi, with additional cast member Yonekura Reia also joining the project. The production is handled by storyboard, with Nagayama directing.
