Shigure Ui transformed K Arena Yokohama into a carnival of surprises on May 30 for her birthday one-man live "Wishing Umbrella." The VTuber and illustrator treated fans to hours of performances, costume reveals, and guest appearances that kept the energy high throughout the night.

The stage design centered on a circus theme, complete with a massive tent-like structure and balcony LEDs positioned to give distant audience members a clear view of the action. Ui opened with "Houkago Mermaid" before pivoting into "Bisui SWIMMER," where she donned the carnival-inspired main visual outfit and filled the air with bubbles.

What made the concert truly special was the parade of surprise guests. Houjou Marin arrived early in the setlist, and the two performed "Beautiful Girl No Crime Pirates" from opposite balconies while hyping up their respective fanbases. Later, mascot performers Ponpoko and Peanuts Kun appeared in full costume for "Carefree King," bringing chaotic joy to the stage alongside Ui's mysterious original character Ui Dagger.

The secret guest section ramped up the spectacle. Amai (a voice synthesis software Ui helped design) performed "Still Waiting? Old Man Syntax!" followed by DecoMic (Lightness), who showed off sharp dance moves for "Cherry Pop." 283 Production's Makoto Futoyuko then joined for collaborative performances of "SOS" and "Paint it delight!"

One of the night's standout moments came when Ui's 9-year-old character persona—a mischievous alternate self born from "a moment of confusion"—took the stage in a new angel-inspired outfit complete with halo and wings. During "Wimarma Saga," both versions of Ui performed together as fire effects lit up the arena, culminating in a massive "mother" figure descending from the K Arena ceiling.

Throughout the concert, Ui showcased multiple custom outfits she personally designed, proving why her creative vision extends beyond music into visual storytelling. The venue's unique architecture became an asset rather than obstacle, with Ui strategically moving between stage levels to connect with fans across the massive space.
