Shintaro Sakamoto has announced a one-man live performance at Tokyo's LIQUIDROOM on July 16, 2026. The concert, titled "LIQUIDROOM 22nd Anniversary & zelone records 15th Anniversary 坂本慎太郎 LIVE 2026," celebrates both the venue's two decades in operation and the 15th anniversary of Sakamoto's independent label, zelone records.

The performance continues Sakamoto's current tour supporting his latest album "Yoo-hoo," which dropped in January 2026. He'll perform alongside his touring band: AYA on bass and vocals, Yuta Suganuma on drums and vocals, and Toru Nishiuchi on saxophone and flute.

Sakamoto has deep history with LIQUIDROOM. He held his first domestic solo one-man live at the venue in January 2018, and has remained connected to the Tokyo fixture throughout his solo career. This July show represents a natural continuation of his relationship with the venue while capitalizing on momentum from his ongoing tour.

Ticket presales began May 21 via eplus at 8:00 PM, with general public sales starting June 14 at 10:00 AM.

Sakamoto's solo career spans over a decade. Before launching his solo project in 2011, he was the vocalist and guitarist for Yuruyura Teikoku, a band that released ten studio albums before disbanding in 2010. His solo discography includes "Genjutsu no Tsukiaikata" (2011), "Nama de Odoro" (2014), and "Dekireba Ai wo" (2016), followed by a lengthy hiatus. He returned in 2022 with "Monogatari no Youni (Like A Fable)," which preceded this year's "Yoo-hoo." Beyond his own music, Sakamoto contributes songwriting and artwork to other artists, maintaining an active creative presence across multiple disciplines.
