SHISHAMO's farewell concert is heading to television. Japan's News Zero will broadcast behind-the-scenes coverage of the three-piece rock band's final performances on June 19, offering fans an intimate look at what went down during their last shows.

The footage comes from SHISHAMO's stadium finale, held June 13-14 at Uvance Todoroki Stadium in Kawasaki, Kanagawa—the same city where the band formed over 16 years ago. The News Zero segment, part of their "1/365" series that follows people through pivotal moments in their lives, will capture the three members' final thoughts as they brought their career to a close.

SHISHAMO—made up of vocalist and guitarist Asako Miyazaki, bassist Aya Matsuoka, and drummer Misaki Yoshikawa—built a reputation as one of Japan's most beloved rock acts. Their journey included an NHK Red and White Song Festival appearance in 2017 and nearly a decade of consistent releases and tours. After roughly 13 years since their major label debut, the band completed a nationwide final tour earlier this year before concluding with the two-day stadium shows.

The Kawasaki stadium performances were notable for bringing the band full circle—ending where they'd begun—and reportedly included special moments like a drummer comeback during the double encore that delighted fans. News Zero's coverage will air Friday, June 19 at 11:59 PM on the Nippon Television network, giving viewers a chance to experience what the band wanted to leave behind.

For longtime SHISHAMO supporters, the televised behind-the-scenes look offers a rare glimpse into how the members processed their final moments together, capturing the emotions and reflections that defined the end of their 16-year journey.
