SiM is making 2026 a year to remember. The Japanese rock band just released "BLiNDEYES feat. Yukina from HANABIE." on May 22, teaming up with HANABIE. vocalist Yukina for a hard-hitting collaboration that frontman MAH describes as "way more hard-hitting than we originally imagined."

According to MAH, the track came together after a frustrating personal situation inspired him to write in pure anger. He completed most of the song in three hours, but realized the finished version needed something more. "I thought adding a female voice could make it feel even more unhinged and psychotic in a cool way," he explained.

MAH wrote the second verse with Yukina in mind, and she jumped at the opportunity. The resulting lyrics are deliberately absurd—so much so that MAH admits they barely make sense. He even incorporated quotes from a famous argument between Japanese pro wrestlers Riki Choshu and Shinya Hashimoto, bringing a playful chaos to what could have been a purely brutal track.

The collaboration is just the beginning. SiM will follow up with their new album "HOOMAN AFTER ALL," arriving September 2. To support both releases, the band is launching their third world tour with the same name.

The HOOMAN AFTER ALL World Tour kicks off in Japan this September, then heads to North America in October and November. The trek continues through the UK and Europe in early 2027, giving fans across multiple continents a chance to hear the new material live.

This announcement comes on the heels of SiM's April single "FiVE TiMES DEAD (by my wallet)," which MAH humorously suggested was taking a toll on listeners' finances. Between the new collaborations, the album, and the tour dates, 2026 is shaping up to be a busy year for both the band and their fanbase.
