Jesse from SixTONES is the latest member to appear in CanCam magazine's limited-time series "#ストさんぽ" (SixTONES Stroll), hitting newsstands June 23. The feature takes readers on a walk through Kanda, a neighborhood with personal significance for the artist.

For Jesse, Kanda holds layers of nostalgia. He frequented the area during his younger days when catching shows at the Imperial Theatre and Nissay Theatre, using Kanda Station as a transfer point. More recently, the district became part of his pre-concert ritual—he'd get off at nearby Jimbocho Station to grab a solo meal and mentally prepare for SixTONES live shows at the Tokyo Dome.

During the Kanda shoot, Jesse opens up about his high school years, when he'd mentally craft one-liner gags while walking home. When asked how he'd introduce international guests to Tokyo, he didn't hesitate: "I'd want them to experience handheld fireworks and take them to fireworks festivals and local matsuri. And of course, I'd really want them to see a SixTONES concert!"

The interview also touches on group dynamics, including how the members use their group chat, his thoughts on the ongoing arena tour reaching its climax, and his excitement heading into stadium shows.

True to form, Jesse spent the shoot delivering comedy beats throughout—dropping jokes while exploring the high walls around the area, at Kanda Myojin shrine's Myojin Danzan steps, and even at the Extinct Media Museum. According to the magazine, he fully embraced his role as an entertainer even while being interviewed.

CanCam's "#ストさんぽ" series showcases different SixTONES members exploring neighborhoods connected to their lives, giving fans both personal stories and insights into the group's Tokyo roots. Jesse's feature marks the fifth installment of this year-long collaboration.
