SixTONES' Kochi Yugo and Morimoto Shintaro appear on the milestone episode of Japan's long-running variety show on June 21, joining fellow celebrities for a special rice-planting project.

SixTONES members Kochi Yugo and Morimoto Shintaro are set to appear on "Zetsu! Tekken! Dash!!" for a major milestone celebration. The special broadcast airs June 21 on Nippon Television, marking the show's 1000th episode.
The program, which premiered in 1995, is bringing together an all-star lineup for the occasion. Alongside the SixTONES members, the episode features Shoji Shigeru (the show's longtime host), Yokoyama Yuu (SUPER EIGHT), Matsushima Satoshi (timelesz), and Fujiwara Joichiro (Naniwa Danshi).
For this special broadcast, the group participates in the show's 26th annual rice-planting project at a farm in Otama Village, Fukushima Prefecture. While Shoji, Morimoto, and Fujiwara are regular contributors to the segment, Yokoyama, Matsushima, and Kochi join as guest helpers—marking a rare gathering of all six members.
The episode includes several highlights beyond the main rice-planting activity. Viewers will see the results of a special strategy Morimoto implemented for the "DASH My (Rice) Dream 2026" project, which aims to deliver new rice to viewers nationwide. The broadcast also showcases cooking preparations by Morimoto and Fujiwara.
As part of the 1000th episode celebration, the show will revisit memorable moments from its 30-year history, including the beloved "DASH Village" segment that Shoji cites as his most unforgettable project. The special will also feature throwback footage of members' debut appearances and other classic scenes.
"Zetsu! Tekken! Dash!!" has become a cultural fixture in Japan, combining agricultural projects with comedy and celebrity appearances. The show's longevity and consistency have made these milestone episodes highly anticipated events among longtime viewers.
The 1000th episode airs Sunday, June 21 at 7:00 PM on Nippon Television.
