Snow Man's Sakuma Learns Marriage Advice Secrets on Japanese TV
Snow Man member Sakuma Daisuke appears on a Japanese variety show to explore the appeal of a charismatic marriage counselor known for her blunt advice. The episode airs June 6 on Nippon Television.

Snow Man's Sakuma Daisuke is stepping into the world of marriage counseling on this week's episode of "Sakusaku Himhim: Night of Falling Favorites," a variety show where he and Bananas' Hiyamaru explore trending topics across Japan.
The June 6 episode focuses on Uekusa Miyuki, a marriage counselor who's gained attention for her unusually direct approach to dating and relationships. Sakuma already knew of Uekusa's reputation, describing her as the type who tells people "that won't work" and "you need to think harder about this."
Joining Sakuma in the studio are Hirasako Yuki from comedy duo Aruko & Peace and Usui Koh from Nougein, all eager to learn what makes Uekusa's advice so effective. Hirasako credits Uekusa's counseling with helping manga artist Oohara find their partner last September, and says he became a believer after watching her work. Usui, who frequents group dates, will seek out Uekusa's professional perspective on modern dating.
During the episode, Sakuma witnesses Uekusa's counseling sessions and reacts with surprise to her blunt language, calling one phrase "the loneliest dreamer comment I've ever heard." But he also observes her compassionate side when she encourages a woman who couldn't marry due to income differences, telling her "you'll be happy next time." Sakuma notes, "She really does care about people."
The show tests everyone's understanding of dating culture with a "flirting techniques quiz" segment. When Sakuma offers his best answer, Uekusa shoots it down with her signature style, revealing yet another dating rule he didn't know about.
The episode airs Saturday, June 6 at 11:30 p.m. on Nippon Television. For those who miss it, TVer will stream a special version afterward that includes scenes not shown on broadcast television.
