In her statement, she described the creative process: "I actually went to karaoke with her, and while she listened to my voice, we discussed what concept would work best. Fukuda approached the songwriting with clear intention, drawing on her years knowing Yagi. She noted how Yagi has grown from a high school student she mentored into a professional adult, while maintaining her childlike innocence. Yagi has built a substantial following since her solo debut in 2023, gaining over 600,000 followers on TikTok where she runs a popular "verification idol" series that tests out various claims and trends. Before going solo, she spent approximately nine years with the Kansai-based group Lovely before the group disbanded in March 2023.

The collaboration feels natural given their history, and both artists expressed hope that the track would resonate with different audiences—former kids and current parents alike.
