Sumika has announced their 2026 tour "Flügel Letter," bringing the Japanese rock band to venues across the country from September through December. The tour kicks off September 24 at Zepp Osaka Bayside and travels through major cities including Yokohama, Nagoya, Fukuoka, Sapporo, and Tokyo before concluding with two nights at Tokyo Garden Theater on December 12-13.

The 16-date tour will make stops at Zepp locations nationwide, with most cities getting two consecutive shows. Fans of the band's official fan club "ATTiC ROOM" can access early ticket sales through May 25.

Sumika formed in 2013 and has built a solid presence in Japan's rock scene. Beyond their own releases, the band has become known for scoring anime and film soundtracks, lending their music to projects like "My Teen Romantic Comedy" and "My Hero Academia: Rising" movies, plus anime series including "Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku" and "The Falcon of the Kohinoor." Their most recent album, "Vermillion's," dropped in March 2025 and was supported by a 33-show national tour.

The 2026 tour name "Flügel Letter"—with "Flügel" meaning "wing" in German—suggests the band is exploring new creative territory as they continue to evolve their sound. This tour will serve as another major checkpoint in their ongoing career, following their 10th anniversary milestone in 2022 and consistent touring schedule over the past few years.

Tickets through the fan club presale end May 25 at 11:59 PM, with general sales details to follow. The full tour schedule spans from Osaka through Tokyo, giving fans across Japan multiple opportunities to catch the band live.
