SUPER BEAVER's documentary film "SUPER BEAVER LIVE & DOCUMENTARY -現在地-" is expanding beyond standard theatrical runs with interactive fan screenings coming June 4th.

The film, which debuted May 22nd and claimed the top spot at the box office that weekend, captures the Tokyo rock band's 20th anniversary year through live performances and behind-the-scenes footage. Now fans will get a chance to experience it together with audience participation encouraged.

Three locations will host the special screenings: TOHOシネマズ 新宿 in Tokyo, ミッドランドスクエア シネマ in Nagoya, and TOHOシネマズ なんば in Osaka. Unlike standard screenings, these sessions allow fans to vocalize their support—think cheering, chanting, and animated responses throughout the film.

To help fans make the most of these events, SUPER BEAVER and the film's producers have released guidance videos on YouTube explaining screening etiquette and how to participate respectfully. These resources aim to create an organized, enjoyable experience for both longtime devotees and newcomers.

SUPER BEAVER formed in Tokyo back in 2005 and has built a reputation through relentless touring and independent spirit. After years working outside the major label system, they signed with Sony Music Records in 2020. Their music reached mainstream audiences through film tie-ins—providing the theme for "Tokyo Revengers" and its sequel—while maintaining their grassroots concert presence. Last summer they played their largest-capacity outdoor show at Fuji-Q Highland, followed by extensive touring.

The documentary stands as the band's first official film project, offering an unfiltered look at their milestone year without member approval on final edits. With the movie already proving popular at the box office and these participatory screenings now available, fans have multiple ways to celebrate SUPER BEAVER's two decades in music.
