&TEAM's MAKI Rocks Tommy Hilfiger Summer Collection
&TEAM member MAKI attended Tommy Hilfiger's summer event in Tokyo, where he modeled the brand's new collection inspired by sailing culture. The artist shared insights about his fashion preferences and summer plans.

&TEAM's MAKI stepped out in style at Tommy Hilfiger's "On Deck With The Hilfiger" summer event on June 16 in Tokyo, showcasing the brand's 2026 collection alongside other celebrities including actress Mizuki Yamamoto and actor Shoji Miura.
Wearing a regatta jacket, cream-colored knit polo, and tailored pants, MAKI showed off the polished nautical aesthetic that defined the event's sailing-inspired theme. He was immediately drawn to the regatta jacket, calling it "incredibly cool" and admitting it made him want to hit the water. "The cream-colored knit polo underneath is growing on me too," he added.
When discussing his summer style philosophy, MAKI revealed a practical approach: wearing through his collection of warm-weather pieces that sat dormant all winter. "I want to give all those summer clothes that have been sleeping a chance to shine," he explained. His current obsession? Shirts. "I'm really into shirts this year," he said, listing everything from t-shirts and button-ups to shorts and sunglasses as his go-to summer rotation.
The event featured personalization opportunities, including custom bag charms that caught MAKI's attention. He's already thinking about his bandmate HARUA, who has a known love for charms. "I want to customize one and give it to HARUA," MAKI said, recalling how the group had recently surprised HARUA with a necklace as a birthday gift in May.
When asked about his favorite place to recharge, MAKI didn't hesitate: the ocean. "I've loved the sea since childhood and spend entire summers there getting sunburned," he laughed. His summer goal is ambitious—he wants to try scuba diving for the first time, building on childhood memories of snorkeling with family. Bali tops his list for ideal diving destinations.
As for what &TEAM means to him long-term, MAKI's answer was heartfelt. He hopes the group will be "loved across generations like Tommy Hilfiger," joining the ranks of timeless brands and artists that transcend age and era.
The Tommy Hilfiger archive collection will be on display at the Omotesando store starting June 19, with a limited-time personalization studio running through June 25 at both the Tokyo and Osaka locations.
