timelesz is getting a glimpse of the future this Sunday on their variety show "timelesz Familia," airing on Nippon Television (Kanto region) at 2 p.m. JST on May 24.

The episode centers around a special "Familia Expo" concept where the group experiences emerging technologies that were once pure science fiction—think cashless payments and music streaming—but are now becoming reality. The production brought together cutting-edge robots and the latest AI innovations for the members to try out.

Guests including Yuuki Hirako from comedy duo Aruco & Peace and Ao Asahina will arrive on futuristic mobility devices that respond to weight distribution alone. One member apparently proves surprisingly skilled at handling the high-tech transport, much to the group's excitement.

Throughout the expo, different members take on specific challenges. Masao Hashimoto will operate a humanoid robot remotely, while a fashion pavilion lets members use AI software to design clothes by simply describing their vision—with the younger members creating summer-ready outfits for Hirako. Takuto Teranishi faces off against an "AI janken" robot in a hand-reading rock-paper-scissors match, putting his poker face to the test.

Beyond the tech experiences, the episode also features a segment called "Backflip Brothers" where timelesz's three youngest members attempt to learn backflips by summer. The preview suggests skill gaps are already emerging among the trio.

This variety appearance comes as timelesz continues building momentum in their new eight-member era. The group, now consisting of original members Kashimasa Kikuchi, Shoji Sato, and Satoru Matsushima alongside five newer members who joined via audition in February 2025, released their debut single as the expanded lineup, "Rock this Party," earlier this year.
