Tokyo Idol Festival 2026 has announced its twelfth round of performers, bringing 37 additional groups to the event's already massive lineup. The announcement marks another major wave for the world's largest idol festival, which takes place July 31–August 2 at Odaiba's waterfront in Tokyo.

Among the new additions are 13 groups making their TIF debut, including Ringo Musume, Luce Twinkle Wink☆, Gran☆Ciel, and KRD8. The wave also features international representation: Taiwan-based acts Strawberry FRUCTOSE and Primulav, plus Seoul-based group NEKIRU, reflecting the festival's growing international reach.

The latest batch spans the full spectrum of the idol scene—from established acts like Maneki Kecha and Hey!Mommy! to newer groups still building their fanbases. Returners like Sayonara Stay Tune and Blink No More join the mix alongside acts with more experimental sounds and concepts.

TIF itself celebrates its 17th year in 2026. Since its debut in 2010, the festival has grown into a cornerstone event for the idol industry, regularly drawing tens of thousands of fans and serving as a proving ground for emerging talent alongside established names. Previous waves already confirmed powerhouses like Nogizaka46, AKB48, and its sister groups, plus acts across multiple record labels and independent circuits.

Tickets and merchandise bundles are currently available through Lawson Ticket and Ponta Pass, with early bird pricing ending June 14 at 11:59 p.m. Standard tickets and T-shirt bundle options are both part of the presale.

With the 12th wave now locked in, the full festival lineup continues to take shape. TIF 2026 looks set to deliver the scale fans have come to expect, balancing established names with fresh talent across all three days.
