After 11 years as a group, ukka took the stage for the last time on May 24 at Tokyo's Kanadevia Hall for "Final Chapter," their highly anticipated farewell concert.

The seven-member idol group, originally formed as Sakura Ebis in 2015 under Stardust Promotion's Star Planet division, has spent the better part of a decade building a devoted fanbase through their literary, emotionally resonant music and polished performances. They rebranded as ukka in 2019 and achieved major label success after their 2022 debut with Teichiku Entertainment. Their 10th anniversary last year produced an anniversary album that became the centerpiece of their final year of activities.

From the moment the concert opened with members individually describing what ukka meant to them, the energy was unmistakable. Paired with the opening theme "We are...(reprise)," the stage featured personalized touches—like illustrations of each member's favorite foods—setting a warm, intimate tone despite the large crowd.

The setlist balanced celebration with nostalgia. Early high-energy tracks like "Ebi Buddy Wanna Be" and "Ossgood Communication" got fans moving immediately, while the EDM track "Cosmic Float" sent the venue into a frenzy. As the night progressed, ukka shifted into their signature emotional territory with white dresses and tiaras, performing introspective numbers like "Believe" and "Re:RAY" alongside fan favorites such as "Kira Kira" and "It's Like Monday at 9 AM."

The concert's strength lay in how it honored the group's journey without dwelling on sadness. During their MC segments, members kept the mood light and warm. The encore brought singalongs to "Viva La Vida" and "Tariruri Ra," with the crowd enthusiastically returning the members' affection.

Most poignantly, each member shared brief remarks in the final moments. New addition Wakana Koharu, who joined just over two years ago, expressed gratitude for her short time with the group and the bonds she'd formed.
