ULTRA-VYBE, an independent record label marking four decades in business, is giving attendees of its 40th anniversary celebration something to take home. The label revealed the contents of a limited gift CD that comes with admission to "FORTH FROM FORTY DAY2" on June 20 at Tokyo's LIQUIDROOM venue.

The special CD was produced by EVISBEATS with additional work from Keys & Bass contributor Nagipan. It features six previously unreleased tracks totaling over 20 minutes, mostly centered around remixes tied to the four artists performing that night: THA BLUE HERB, SHINGO★西成, TOKYO世界, and GADORO.

The tracklist includes remixed versions of songs like "どのクチが何を言うか" (What Does That Mouth Say) featuring SHINGO★西成, and multiple GADORO tracks including "JIMOTO," "RUNNER," and "ここにいよう" (Let's Stay Here). The CD opens with an intro track titled "40周年後半 Intro" (40th Anniversary Second Half Intro) and closes with a track from tha BOSS.

EVISBEATS offered candid commentary about the project: "We ended up making this CD on short notice, so it has a rough-around-the-edges feel to it. But we packed it with ultra vibes, so we hope you'll enjoy it."

This gift CD follows a similar special release handed out at DAY1 of the anniversary event on May 10. Each of the four headlining acts will perform 40-minute sets during the June 20 show.

Tickets for the ULTRA-VYBE 40th Anniversary Event remain available through eplus. The gift CD comes with general admission, making it a nice bonus for fans attending what's shaping up to be a significant celebration of the label's history in Japanese hip-hop and independent music.
