Uma Musume Pretty Derby has been added to the lineup for Tokyo Idol Festival 2026, performing during the festival's final day on August 2nd. The event runs July 31 through August 2nd in Tokyo's Odaiba area.

The virtual idol group will bring four voice actresses to the stage: Natsori Ishihara (who voices Almond Eye), Yuki Nakajima (Lucky Lilac), Hina Natsume (Gran Allegria), and Hiwako Manase (Chronos Genesis). This marks the group's second consecutive year performing at TIF, one of the world's largest idol festivals.

Tokyo Idol Festival, now in its 17th year since its 2010 debut, draws thousands of idol fans and features dozens of groups across multiple days. The 2026 edition boasts an extensive roster spanning everything from established acts like AKB48 and Nogizaka46 to emerging regional groups and solo artists.

Ticket sales are currently underway through multiple platforms. Those purchasing through Rakuten Tickets have until July 20th at 11:59 PM, while other ticket vendors will accept orders until 11:59 PM the day before the performance.

Uma Musume Pretty Derby, a multimedia franchise centered around virtual horses competing in races, has grown into a major cultural phenomenon in Japan. The project combines rhythm game mechanics with character-driven storytelling, and its voice cast has become integral to fan engagement. The group's inclusion at TIF reflects the franchise's expansion beyond gaming into live entertainment and fan experiences.

With the addition of Uma Musume Pretty Derby and other recent lineup announcements, TIF 2026 is shaping up to be one of the festival's most diverse programs yet, blending traditional idol groups, indie acts, and emerging entertainment projects.
