UNAGI ROCK FESTIVAL 2026 Announces Additional Performers
Japan's inaugural Unagi Rock Festival in Okazaki, Nagano, has revealed three more artists joining the October lineup: Char, Going Under Ground, and Monkey Majik.

The Unagi Rock Festival 2026 is adding more star power to its October debut. Organizers announced that legendary guitarist Char will perform on October 3rd, while Going Under Ground and Monkey Majik will take the stage on October 4th at the Swan Dome in Okazaki, Nagano.
The festival marks the first large-scale rock event in Okazaki, a city known as the birthplace of Japan's massive Onbashira Festival and a filming location for the blockbuster "Godzilla -1.0." The two-day lineup already includes established acts like Do As Infinity, Kikuchi Momoko, Lindberg, wacci, and Yasuda Ray.
Ticketholders can expect opening acts on both days, though details haven't been finalized. The festival is leveraging Lawson Ticket for sales, with early-bird pricing available through June 30th. Those interested in VIP experiences can grab special VIP reserved seating with exclusive perks through June 24th.
Char brings serious credibility to the bill—the guitarist is a fixture in Japan's rock scene and has recently appeared on NHK's "Songs" program alongside legendary band Godaigo. Going Under Ground and Monkey Majik round out the bill with their own dedicated fanbases, making the festival a solid mix of legacy acts and enduring favorites.
For fans in the Nagano region or those willing to travel for a unique festival experience, Unagi Rock appears to be positioning itself as a must-watch autumn event. The venue's indoor setting at Swan Dome also means weather won't be a concern—a practical advantage for an outdoor festival season.
