WATWING is heading to Music Natalie's 'Katarē' talk show tomorrow, June 14, at 8 p.m. JST. Members Akira Suzuki and Rintaro Hachimura will join the live streaming event to have a relaxed, free-flowing conversation with fans.

'Katarē' is Music Natalie's ongoing live chat series designed to bring listeners closer to artists through casual dialogue. Hosted through the publication's X account (@natalie_mu), each session runs roughly an hour with artists as featured speakers.

For this appearance, Suzuki and Hachimura plan to discuss their recent single "Present," released earlier this month. The pair will also touch on the FIFA World Cup 2026 Japan national team matches—giving fans a peek into what's on their minds beyond music.

WATWING, a six-member dance and vocal group, formed in 2019 through Horipro's Star Boys Audition. Their name combines "WAT" (slang for "what") and "WING" (wings), representing their desire to "soar forward while staying true to their convictions no matter what others say." The group debuted on a major label in September 2021 with the EP Take Off, and gained wider recognition when member Hachimura appeared in the 2022 TBS drama Kimi no Hana ni Naru.

The group has had a busy year. They performed at Tokyo's legendary Nippon Budokan in February 2024, and later that year announced a move to a new label, +WHAX. Their first single under the new imprint, "365," dropped in December 2024, followed by the EP uNi in March 2025.
