WEST.'s Kamiyama Debuts on THE FIRST TAKE's New Series, Launches TikTok
WEST. member Tomohiro Kamiyama appears on YouTube's THE FIRST TAKE for the new "HIGHLIGHT" series, performing his own composition "G.O.D." in a one-take performance. He's also launched an official TikTok account.

Tomohiro Kamiyama from WEST. is making his debut on THE FIRST TAKE's new series "HIGHLIGHT," which premiered on June 18 at 10 p.m. The performance features his self-composed track "G.O.D." with special arrangements and choreography created exclusively for the appearance.
"HIGHLIGHT" focuses on different artistic disciplines—from dance to instrumental performance—to showcase aspects of artists that don't always make it into THE FIRST TAKE's main content. Performers take the stage for one-shot takes, delivering uninterrupted performances in front of THE FIRST TAKE's signature white backdrop.
Kamiyama is the first STARTO ENTERTAINMENT artist to participate in the "HIGHLIGHT" series. Beyond his work with WEST., he's established himself as a multitalented creator, handling songwriting, composition, and choreography for the group while also appearing in dramas and musicals. For this appearance, he reimagined "G.O.D." with fresh arrangements and choreography, marking its first media performance.
To expand his reach beyond YouTube, Kamiyama also launched an official TikTok account on the same day. The account will center on performance and music-related content, offering fans a closer look at his work and creative process.
WEST. has been busy recently, having successfully hosted their first self-produced festival, "WESSION FESTIVAL 2025," in Osaka last October. The group's latest single, "ウェッサイソウル! / BIG LOVE SONG," dropped in May 2025. The group rebranded as "WEST." in October 2023 and has since expanded their presence across multiple media platforms, making moves like this TikTok launch part of a broader strategy to engage younger audiences and casual fans.
