hide, born Hideto Matsumoto, was the flamboyant lead guitarist of visual kei pioneers X Japan and later formed hide with Spread Beaver. His innovative guitar work and distinctive pink hair made him one of Japan's most recognizable rock stars. His tragic death in 1998 at age 33 shocked the music world, but his influence on Japanese rock and visual kei continues today.

The "Hi-Ho!" reference in the concert title likely nods to hide's playful personality and his connection with fans.
