YOASOBI have wrapped their Never Ending Stories North American tour, capping what the duo calls their largest and most successful run in the region to date. Across six cities, the tour drew over 70,000 fans and secured multiple historic firsts for a J-pop artist in North America.

The duo made their Lollapalooza return, appearing on the festival's Main Stage for a second time, and became the first J-pop artist ever to perform at OSHEAGA. They also achieved dual milestones at Barclays Center in Brooklyn—performing there and selling out the venue—and closed the tour as the first J-pop act to ever take the stage at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

Composer Ayase and vocalist ikura's final North American stop in Los Angeles highlighted what the tour represented: their music crossing cultural and language barriers to reach audiences on a scale the duo had not previously achieved in the region.

To mark the tour's end, YOASOBI partnered with Complex for a pop-up event in Los Angeles on August 18 and 19. Fans could purchase merchandise and attend a signing session on August 18 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, where both Ayase and ikura signed copies of the Japan Exclusive Edit vinyl of THE BOOK.

Looking ahead, YOASOBI are moving to even larger venues. Starting in October 2026, they will launch the "Cho Wakusei" Asia tour, a 10-city dome and stadium tour running through 2027. The announcement suggests the duo plans to bring the momentum from their North American success to Asia, performing at bigger stages than they have previously.

Since their debut in November 2019 with "Into The Night (Yoru ni Kakeru)," YOASOBI have become international fixtures. The song hit number one on multiple Japanese streaming charts and went on to accumulate over 900 million streams by January 2023, a first for a Japanese artist. In 2021, they ranked as the most-played Japanese artist on Spotify internationally.
