X Japan drummer and pianist YOSHIKI is bringing his classical concert series to the Walt Disney Concert Hall in Los Angeles this July, and fans can catch the performance live on WOWOW.

The two-night event, titled "YOSHIKI CLASSICAL 2026 IN LOS ANGELES WALT DISNEY CONCERT HALL 'SCARLET NIGHT & VIOLET NIGHT'," continues his classical concert series that kicked off in Tokyo earlier this year. WOWOW will broadcast the second night's "VIOLET NIGHT" performance live on July 18 at midnight, with a Japanese-subtitled repeat airing the following week on July 26.

YOSHIKI chose the Walt Disney Concert Hall—home to the Los Angeles Philharmonic and one of the world's premier performance venues—as the stage for this ambitious project. "I want to challenge expressions that go beyond conventional frameworks," YOSHIKI said about performing at the venue.

The concert represents another milestone in YOSHIKI's expansive career beyond X Japan. Over the past several years, he's established himself as a classical musician, having previously performed at prestigious venues including London's Royal Albert Hall, the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, and Carnegie Hall in New York—making him the first Japanese artist to perform at all three historic Western concert halls.

YOSHIKI has been juggling multiple projects lately. In addition to his solo classical work, he leads the supergroup The Last Rockstars alongside Hyde (L'Arc-en-Ciel/VAMPS), Sugizo (Luna Sea/X Japan), and Miyavi. He also produces the boy band XY and has ventured into fashion, beverages, and philanthropy through his various business ventures.

For those unable to attend in person, the WOWOW broadcast offers an accessible way to experience the concert. The performance will remain available for one month after its initial airing on WOWOW On Demand.

Arch archives will be available through WOWOW On Demand for one month following the broadcasts.
