Yoshimi Iwasaki's 45th Anniversary Live Album Set for April Release

Veteran J-Pop singer Yoshimi Iwasaki will release her live album "GrΓ’ce Γ  vousο½žε²©ε΄Žθ‰―ηΎŽ 45ε‘¨εΉ΄θ¨˜εΏ΅ LIVE~" on April 1st, celebrating 45 years in the music industry.

The album captures performances from her anniversary concert, marking nearly five decades since her debut in 1979. Iwasaki, now 62, has remained a beloved figure in Japanese music, known for hits like "Touch" - the iconic theme song for the anime series of the same name - and "Cinderella Honeymoon."

To promote the release, Tower Records Shinjuku will host special events including a mini live performance and meet & greet session with the singer. These intimate events give fans a rare opportunity to experience Iwasaki's music up close and meet the artist who has soundtracked many of their favorite anime and TV moments.

Iwasaki's career spans multiple generations of J-Pop fans. She gained massive popularity in the 1980s during the height of anime theme song culture, when her powerful vocals became synonymous with some of the era's most memorable series. Her anniversary live album represents not just a personal milestone, but a celebration of her lasting impact on Japanese popular music.

The title "GrΓ’ce Γ  vous" (French for "thanks to you") reflects Iwasaki's gratitude to the fans who have supported her throughout her remarkable four-and-a-half-decade career.
