Yuna Enokiya has won the inaugural STAR RISE Audition, a vocal competition created by Styrism and Pony Canyon with the mission to "create music that endures." As the grand prize winner, she'll debut as a major artist under Pony Canyon with full production support from Styrism.

The audition, which launched this February, drew approximately 1,200 applicants nationwide. After multiple rounds of elimination, four finalists made it to the live final stage: Enokiya, Masahiro Kaneko, Loralina Toshikuchi Mori, and Reii Takizawa. They performed covers of their choice and delivered one-minute showcases in front of a panel that included Styrism president Takashi Morinaka, Pony Canyon's Naotaka Yamaguchi, music critic Mino, and judges from the industry including ☆Taku Takahashi (m-flo, block.fm), MONJOE, and Jazztronik's Ryota Nozaki.

Enokiya stood out by taking a restrained approach. Rather than relying on flashy production, she let her vocal ability and genuine passion for music speak for itself. During her one-minute pitch, she quietly but earnestly discussed her love of singing, leaving an impression on the judging panel.

Jazztronik's Nozaki praised her potential, saying "This isn't the finish line but a checkpoint. I'm looking forward to watching you grow from here." MONJOE echoed the sentiment, noting that while all four finalists delivered excellent performances, Enokiya "seemed like someone who might do something special." He added that while her emotional delivery could develop further, her future looks promising.

When announced as the winner, Enokiya expressed shock and gratitude: "I never thought I'd be chosen. I've loved singing for so long, and having that even slightly recognized makes me really happy. I want to work hard moving forward."

The STAR RISE Audition represents a collaboration between Styrism's creative consulting expertise and Pony Canyon's industry reach, seeking to identify artists with genuine artistry rather than just surface appeal.
