Yuzu Writes New Song for Ebara Yakiniku Sauce Commercial
Popular folk-pop duo Yuzu created the original song 'Te no Naru Hou e' for Ebara's new yakiniku sauce commercials, which begin airing March 7th.

Folk-pop duo Yuzu has written a brand new song for Ebara Foods' yakiniku sauce commercial series. The track, titled "Te no Naru Hou e" (Toward the Applause), will soundtrack two new ads: "Ougon no Aji Yakiniku de Egao MAX" (Golden Flavor - Maximum Smiles with Yakiniku) and "Ougon no Aji Yattare Yakiniku" (Golden Flavor - Let's Do Yakiniku).
The commercials are set to begin broadcasting tomorrow, March 7th, bringing Yuzu's signature harmonies to dinner tables across Japan. For international fans unfamiliar with the brand, Ebara's yakiniku sauce is a staple condiment found in Japanese households, used for grilling meat and vegetables.
This collaboration makes perfect sense given Yuzu's reputation for creating warm, family-friendly music that resonates with everyday Japanese life. The duo, consisting of Yujin Kitagawa and Koji Iwasawa, has been a mainstay of Japanese pop music since the late 1990s, known for hits like "Natsumatsuri" and their acoustic guitar-driven sound.
While details about a wider release of "Te no Naru Hou e" haven't been announced yet, fans will be able to hear the new track when the commercials hit airwaves. Given Yuzu's history of turning commercial tie-ins into popular singles, this could be another addition to their extensive catalog of beloved songs.
