The title track "Blingy" is a hip-hop song built on distortion synth sounds and heavy drum beats, anchored by a chanting chorus. Lyrically, the song compares the group's growing energy to an endless flame, emphasizing their commitment to delivering their best performance and their pride as a team.
For this release, NCT 127 will operate as a five-member unit. Doyoung and Jungwoo are currently completing their mandatory military service, so Johnny, Taeyong, Yuta, Jaehyun, and Haechan will headline the comeback.
The group has rolled out an extensive teaser campaign ahead of the August 24 release. On August 11, they dropped a track video for "Piñata," a B-side from the album that captures the group's confidence in turning their stage into "an explosive festival." Earlier in the rollout, NCT 127 shared album highlight medleys, multiple teaser image sets including "ASSEMBLE!" and "BLINGY JETS" concepts, individual and group teaser photos, and a series called "Call 127" featuring various members.
The group officially kicked off their countdown on July 27 at midnight KST with the first teaser, signaling the start of their promotional push into late August.
