NCT's Jeno and Jaemin Form New Unit NCT JNJM, Debut Set for February
SM Entertainment announced NCT's Jeno and Jaemin will debut as NCT JNJM on February 23 with their first mini album 'BOTH SIDES.'

NCT members Jeno and Jaemin are officially forming their own unit called NCT JNJM, with their debut scheduled for February 23.
SM Entertainment revealed the news on January 26 alongside a teaser poster announcing the duo's first mini album "BOTH SIDES." The album will feature six tracks including a title track, marking the first official sub-unit debut for the two NCT Dream members.
This announcement comes at a particularly notable time for SM Entertainment, which recently made headlines for taking legal action against malicious posts targeting several of its artists on X (formerly Twitter). The company had specifically mentioned protecting NCT WISH, along with aespa and RIIZE, from harmful online content in their January 20 statement.
Jeno and Jaemin have been longtime members of NCT Dream since the sub-unit's formation in 2016. Both idols have shown their versatility through various NCT projects over the years, with Jeno also participating in NCT U collaborations and Jaemin becoming known for his MC work on music shows.
The unit name NCT JNJM appears to be a straightforward combination of both members' names, following NCT's tradition of creating sub-units based on different concepts and member combinations. This debut adds another branch to NCT's extensive family tree, which already includes NCT Dream, NCT 127, WayV, and NCT WISH.
While SM Entertainment hasn't released additional details about the musical direction or concept for NCT JNJM, the "BOTH SIDES" album title suggests the duo might explore contrasting themes or showcase different facets of their artistry.
Fans can expect more teasers and details about NCT JNJM's debut in the coming weeks leading up to their February 23 release date.
