RIIZE will perform without member Shotaro at their upcoming Macau concerts during the group's first world tour "RIIZING LOUD."

The production company behind the Macau shows announced Shotaro's absence on February 6 through an official notice. However, they did not provide specific details about why the Japanese member will miss these performances.

This marks a notable absence for RIIZE, who launched their debut world tour earlier this year. The "RIIZING LOUD" tour represents a major milestone for the SM Entertainment group, which debuted in September 2023 with their single "Get A Guitar."

Shotaro, born Osaki Shotaro, joined RIIZE as one of the group's main dancers and vocalists. The 23-year-old previously trained with SM Entertainment and appeared in various pre-debut projects before officially joining the seven-member group.

Fans have expressed concern and support for Shotaro across social media platforms, with many hoping for his quick return to group activities. The RIIZE fanbase, known as BRIIZE, has been sending encouraging messages while respecting the privacy around his absence.

The remaining six members - Sungchan, Eunseok, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee, and Anton - are expected to proceed with the Macau concerts as scheduled. RIIZE has not announced any additional changes to their tour itinerary.

This absence comes as RIIZE continues to build momentum internationally following their successful debut year. The group gained significant attention with tracks like "Get A Guitar," "Talk Saxy," and "Love 119," establishing themselves as rising stars in the K-pop scene.

While disappointing for fans hoping to see the complete group, concert organizers and SM Entertainment are likely prioritizing Shotaro's well-being. The company has historically been protective of their artists' health, often allowing members time to recover when needed.

Fans will be watching for updates on when Shotaro might rejoin the tour activities and whether this affects any other scheduled performances on the "RIIZING LOUD" world tour.
