No Gyaru in This Class Manga Ending Next Chapter
Shigure Tokita announced that her Shonen Jump+ series No Gyaru in This Class will conclude in the next chapter. The classroom comedy launched in September 2024 and follows a honor student who transforms into a gyaru to reinvent her image in high school.

Shigure Tokita confirmed via X (formerly Twitter) that No Gyaru in This Class (Kono Kurasu ni Gyaru wa Inai) will end with its next chapter, wrapping up the manga that debuted less than two years ago.
The series launched on Shueisha's Shonen Jump+ platform in September 2024 and has been simultaneously published in English on MANGA Plus. Three compiled volumes have been released, with the most recent shipping in January 2026.
No Gyaru in This Class follows Mirei, a diligent honor student who dreams of the glamorous gyaru lifestyle she admires in manga. Determined to reinvent herself, she undergoes a dramatic makeover upon entering high school—only to unexpectedly click with Yushin, a rough-around-the-edges classmate. The result is a classroom comedy centered on their unlikely connection and Mirei's quest to live out her gyaru fantasy.
Tokita, known for her previous work Don't Blush, Sekime-san!, has built a reputation for lighthearted, character-driven comedies. That earlier series ran from January 2022 to April 2022 across three volumes before concluding.
The announcement comes as No Gyaru in This Class winds down its run, giving fans closure to Mirei and Yushin's story. While the manga's ending date hasn't been officially specified beyond "next chapter," the series appears to be reaching its natural conclusion after a relatively brief but memorable publication cycle.
For fans outside Japan, the series remains accessible through MANGA Plus, which continues to provide free English translations of Shonen Jump+ titles.
