Star Detective Precure! and Detective Conan are getting the collaboration treatment with an exclusive merchandise line that's now hitting retailers across Japan.

The crossover kicked off with back-to-back episodes: Star Detective Precure!'s 18th episode "Great Detectives Assemble" aired on May 31, followed by Detective Conan's "The Flower Seal Answer" on June 6. In the Precure episode, characters Anna and Mikuru team up with Detective Conan's Conan Edogawa and the Mōri family to recover a stolen art piece. The Detective Conan episode flips things around, featuring Precure fan Ayumi, who gets more than she bargains for when a jewelry heist investigation unexpectedly connects to the magical girl world she loves.

To capitalize on the momentum, Precure Pretty Store locations in Tokyo, Osaka, Yokohama, Koshigaya Lake Town, and Nagoya are stocking physical merchandise starting June 23. The in-store collection includes acrylic stands, pins, and coasters featuring Conan and Cure Answer, priced between 715 yen and 1,980 yen (roughly $4.50 to $12.40).

For fans outside Japan or preferring online shopping, Premium Bandai is offering collaboration t-shirts and B2-size towels through preorder. These items are priced at 4,400 yen and 3,300 yen respectively (about $28 and $21). Preorders run through June 30 at 11:00 p.m. JST.

This crossover represents a rare team-up between two long-running franchises with very different vibes—Precure's magical girl action against Detective Conan's mystery-solving detective work. The merchandise rollout suggests both properties view this partnership as more than a one-off special, giving fans plenty of ways to commemorate the event. If you're interested in grabbing any pieces, Premium Bandai preorders are live now, and Japanese retail locations open their doors on June 23.
