Dolly Returns with New Single After Four-Year Silence
Japanese rock band Dolly is releasing their first new music since 2022 with the single "Un, Deux, Trois" on July 22. The comeback follows their 20th-anniversary tour earlier this year and includes a solo performance scheduled for October.

Dolly is officially back. The Japanese rock band announced a brand-new single, Un, Deux, Trois, arriving July 22—their first release since the 2022 single "cell."
The news comes after the band wrapped up 20th-anniversary activities in 2025 with a limited-concept live project called Nemureru Keisou no Memento Mori, which culminated in a final performance at Tokyo Kinema Club. That farewell show drew devoted fans, proving the band's staying power despite years of dormancy.
Formed in 2005 and debuted on a major label in 2009, Dolly has had a fractured history. They suspended activities in 2012, briefly reunited in 2022, then went quiet again until this year's anniversary celebrations.
Un, Deux, Trois will come in two formats. The limited edition includes the title track, a newly re-recorded version of "Kuroneko Catherine," and a card for digital access to the music video. The standard edition features the title track, a re-recorded version of "SCRAP BULLET [7DAYS]," and an instrumental version of the single.
Beyond the single, Dolly has launched an official fan club called "Bonnie," giving supporters a direct way to stay connected. The band is also playing a solo performance on October 26 at Spotify O-WEST in Tokyo to celebrate the return.
The current lineup includes vocalist Mitsu, guitarists Masa and Yuina, bassist Hachi, and drummer Tsuguki. Un, Deux, Trois will be released through TIMEZONE Records and marder suitcase.
For fans who've waited years for new material, this marks a genuine revival after what felt like a permanent goodbye. Whether this is a one-off or signals a longer-term return remains to be seen, but the band's decision to follow the single with a Tokyo show suggests they're committed to reconnecting with their audience.
