About FRUITS ZIPPER
FRUITS ZIPPER emerged in February 2022 under KAWAII LAB., a project by Asobi System designed to bring idol culture to a global audience. Producer Misa Kimura, formerly of Musubizumu and the creative director of KAWAII LAB., leads the group with the concept "From Harajuku to the World."
The group's breakthrough came through their 2022 track "Watashi no Ichiban Kawaii Tokoro" (My Cutest Spot), which went viral on TikTok. The momentum carried into their official debut single in September 2023, followed by their first arena concert at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium that October. They capped off 2023 with the New Artist Award at the 65th Japan Record Awards.
FRUITS ZIPPER continued building momentum into 2024, celebrating their second anniversary with a two-day live at Nippon Budokan in May.
Their Music Awards Japan 2026 appearance marks another significant milestone for the group, which has grown from viral TikTok sensation to a recognized fixture in Japan's music industry.
